Piano Session acoustic/electronic cu Mischa Blanos

Berlin based contemporary artist, Mischa Blanos composes, performs and physically transforms the piano giving life to new acoustic-electronic blends. His music is for the NOW people. It brings the joy of listening contemporary music with that uplifting feeling of actually understanding what the story told by the composer is. A new wave of piano musicians of the neoclassical movement has emerged and he walks with them.
Mischa Blanos’ music draws from a large bowl of influences. Classical music has a strong voice in his compositions and performance, as dynamics, articulation and exceptional piano technique are exercised in years of classical training. Jazz reaches in his music, its melodious flow reminding of Keith Jarrett. There are also similarities to soundtrack composers, as well as certain contemporary musicians such as Brad Mehldau, Nils Frahm, Brandt Brauer Frick or Nicolas Jaar.
